John Drozer
Owner
John Drozer has more than 40 years of experience. He spent the past 27 years running operations/owning a 65 year old general contracting/construction management/design-build company in the Midwest area. He created CONSTRUCTION BRAINPOWER LLC consulting company in 2020 and was the project executive for an $85M multi-family project completed in 2024 for the Midwest area.​

Before owning Construction BRAINPOWER, John was the President/Owner of CD Barnes Construction. He managed both business and operations at one of Michigan's oldest
construction firms since 1995. He led projects, negotiated contracts,
and maintained profitability. Previously, he worked with Bechtel International in Saudi Arabia and the SAE Group in the USA, gaining insights into high professionalism and integrity.
After stepping down, he now consults on CD Barnes' largest project in its 65+ year history. A University of Michigan engineering graduate with an MBA from the University of Detroit, John blends extensive industry experience with advanced education. He's contributed to construction-related committees and promotes team leadership. Outside of work, John enjoys physical workouts, time at the family cottage in Canada, and keeping up with his daughters.
